My first experience teaching photography was a constant reminder of how hard the job of a teacher is. I found myself trying to teach by example more than anything. These kids taught me a lot. I hope they each absorbed something useful from me. Next, I’ll be traveling back to Vietnam to co-lead a group of 7 on a week long service immersion tour of Ban Hang and Hanoi.

The world is full of such rustic and magical places. Octavian … YOU are getting to see them first hand. I hope that you are able to find quiet really present moments in each of these fairytale scenes you’ve been sharing to really FEEL them, breathe them in and truly “BE” there.
