The Luang Prabang night market is not only my favorite market I’ve been to as of yet for buying native stuff, but it’s also a fantastic place to people watch. The first three images here are my favorite three unposed portraits. The second pair are of monks collecting alms at dawn. Over 300 monks do this every morning in a concentrated area of the city.

Once again… amazing. You are so making me want to become a photographer … except, of course, that I can’t pick up a camera and achieve this! If only. :)

Chris, I love reading your kind words, and I greatly appreciate your encouragement. But I think this time you’ve gone too far! The three main attributes that allow me to do what I do are: I am a fan and a student of documentary photography. I know the technical principles of photography and one camera like the back of my hand. And I’m a character ;p From what I know about you, all you are lacking is the technical part, which is by far the easiest. So if you want to be a photographer, read a camera manual front to back a couple times, and bring your camera everywhere you go…
