Chelermchai Kositpiphat created Wat Rong Khun, The White Temple, in Chiang Rai, Thailand from his vision of heaven. Construction began of this contemporary Buddhist and Hindu temple in 1997 and finished in 2008, yet the whole project will not be finished until an estimated 2070! Kositpiphat’s friend, Thawan Duchanee, created the Black House to embody traditional Thai arts in a contemporary way.
